Web Design and Development of WebLab Content Management System

Our approach and methodologies for all projects are unique and tailored to meet the individual clients requirements, however we do look to adopt an 'agile' approach where possible.

From a development perspective, Proximity Solutions does not follow any single 'application lifecycle' approach, as requirements in this respect vary by application, sector and by customer.

This remains true within our graphic design approaches too; a design that may suit one of our clients will be very distant from another clients expectations and requirements, depending on the specific audience they wish to address.

For design, we look to provide conceptual, static artwork for all web based applications, before writing a single line of code, and once we have discussed and agreed our ideas with you, then we begin working on the technical aspects.

For bespoke software and web application development, we look to understand your requirements fully before providing a solution that meets your expectations, and sometimes we may suggest an alternative approach if we feel it necessary!

Remaining Flexible

However, through all of our time spent working with you, we believe adopting and agile and flexible approach to all of our client projects benefits all involved:

  • We have a small team of developers that remains in constant communication with our clients
  • Close collaboration with our client produces quality in the end product
  • A rigid development process - in our experience - can impede and not support innovation, which is a primary concern in maintaining flexible and industry-leading applications
  • Most importantly, you as our client still maintain the freedom and flexibility to control the project without the outcome being set in stone.  Off course, the more the goal posts move, the more the projects end price will too!

What is 'Agile Modeling'?
Agile software development is a conceptual framework for undertaking software engineering projects that embraces and promotes evolutionary change throughout the entire life-cycle of the project
